Welcome to Charlottesville and ISSTT 2009!
The ISSTT2009 Proceedings are now available online at the ISSTT Proceedings Archive
Thank you to all presenters and attendees for making the 20th International Symposium on Space THz Technology a scientifically interesting and enjoyable event. Photos from the conference can be viewed here.
The International Symposium on Space THz Technology
(ISSTT), begun in 1990, is the premier forum for developers of
low-noise sub-millimeter and THz receivers. The ISSTT was
previously held in Charlottesville in 1996 and 1999. NRAO,
along with Virginia Diodes, Inc., and the University of
Virginia, is pleased to sponsor the return of this symposium
to Charlottesville in 2009 for its twentieth year.
The technical scope of this conference includes
millimeter-wave/terahertz instruments for astrophysics and
other applications; heterodyne and direct detectors such as
Schottky, SIS, HEB, TES, KID, and bolometers; sources such as
frequency multipliers, lasers, and other technologies; optics
and measurement techniques; and THz systems and backends.
