July 2010 Outburst of the NLS1 PMN J0948+0022
Description
The image shows the artists view of a relativistic jet in a spiral galaxy and at the four corners there are the images from different instruments and referring mainly to the powerful gamma-ray outburst of the Narrow-Line Seyfert 1 Galaxy PMN J0948+0022 occurred in early July 2010. top left E 100 MeV from Fermi/LAT on 2010 July 7-11; top right 0.3-10 keV X-rays from Swift/XRT on 2010 July 3; bottom left ultraviolet filters from Swift/UVOT on 2010 July 3; bottom right 2 cm radiowaves from VLBA observations of the MOJAVE Project made by stacking all the observations in 2009-2010.
