References Considered for Inclusion in Bibliographies

This group of index cards documents Carpenter's process of keeping track of references that have been considered for inclusion in her bibliographies. The first card describes her color-coding system to indicate which reprints have been reviewed, considered, rejected, etc. Each card includes handwritten notes on the reprint. Most references on the index cards appear to have been rejected for inclusion in the bibliographies.
