Malphrus Dissertation Unit

This unit contains 1991 correspondence and photocopies from 1964 NRAO Quarterly Reports, and is related to Heeschen's and Mark A. Gordon's concerns about treatment of NRAO's 36 foot telescope history in Benjamin A. Malphrus' doctoral dissertation, "History of Radio Astronomy and the National Radio Astronomy Observatory: Evolution Toward Big Science" (Dept. of Physical Sciences, Morehead State University, 1990).
